'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League homecoming
Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the initial significant trophy of his notable career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently stated that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he previously was, and would certainly contemplate prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
