During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused power cuts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were injured while residents in the city's east were experienced blackouts and encountered problems to water systems, as stated by municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a young boy was fatally injured in a different assault in the southeastern region in the southern area, based on information from regional authorities.

Moscow has increased strikes on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while officials has requested "substantial measures" from international partners to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but strong steps - from the America, European nations and the major economies - in delivering air defence systems and implementing penalties," mentioned in a social media post.

Authorities reported that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 missiles targeted the country's power systems, characterizing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were striving to fix the damage.

A series of attacks damaged energy infrastructure and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people injured in the attacks on the capital have been hospitalized, according to local officials.

He said utility staff and government agencies were anticipating further attacks.
